Purpose: To outline the job functions and duties of a Quality Inspector as it applies to Genpak LLC.
Scope: This applies to the job functions of the Quality Inspector. This job description does include, but may not be limited to the following functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
Primary Interactions
The quality inspector will have daily interaction with all plant personnel.
Requirements:Competencies
Preferred (Not Mandatory) Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED required. A minimum of one (1) year quality control experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred but not required. Prospective employees must have good math, reading, and writing skills.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Work requires moderate physical effort and use of motor skills requiring manual dexterity. While performing duties of this job, an employee will regularly sit, stand, walk, kneel and crouch. Employees must be able to climb stairs. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Employees will work in a manufacturing/warehouse/laboratory setting and may encounter drastic temperature changes from hot to cold.
